Essential Duties & Responsibilities

As part of our moving crew, team members may be responsible for:​

• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Wrapping and protecting furniture and fragile items
• Packing household goods and equipment
• Using dollies, hand trucks, straps, blankets, and moving equipment properly
• Stacking and securing items to prevent damage during transport
• Assisting with truck cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and job site cleanup
• Following all company safety procedures and best practices
• Providing professional and respectful customer service
• Wearing company uniforms and required safety equipment
• Performing additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

​Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Previous moving, warehouse, labor, delivery, or customer service experience is helpful but not always required
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable using smartphone applications for scheduling and communication​

​​Physical Demands:

This position is physically active and may require:​

• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
• Frequent lifting and moving of heavy items
• Regular lifting of 50+ pounds
• Team lifting of larger furniture and equipment
• Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Safe handling of moving equipment and materials

Employees should be comfortable performing physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Team members may regularly work around:

• Moving trucks and mechanical equipment
• Outdoor weather conditions
• Heat, humidity, rain, and changing temperatures
• Dust, allergens, and other environmental conditions
• Residential and commercial job sites
